The Poetry Cosmos is a poets’ association founded in 2017 by Kamlesh Biswas, Ayan Shukla and Ravindra Singh to foster the art of poetic expression.
We strive to ensure that literature maintains its proper prominence in the culture, and that individuals achieve their fullest potential as artists & human beings.
Our community includes poets, publishers, readers and translators.

Our work is rooted in the belief that literature is vital to sustain a vibrant culture. Our mission is to lift up the importance of poetry and literature in india and trying to make a change within the literature and art enthusiasts of the 21st century. We seek to promote communication throughout the literary community, and to help create an environment in which literature can be appreciated by the widest possible public.

The Team
Kamlesh Biswas is a published poet and founder of The Poetry Cosmos. He is also a well known personality in Pune-Mumbai Urdu poetry circuit. He has also been a part of the Pune International Literature Festival (PILF) and Delhi Poetry Festival.
Ayan Shukla, chooses to be called himself anything but a poet; born in Patiala he enjoys the luxury of calling Bulleh Shah’s language his mother tongue-and pleasantly chooses to be called a writer of Punjabi and Hindustani poetry.
Virendra Patil, is an urdu shayar known for “jadidiyat” in his written works. Virendra comes from mumbai. He has recently got popular amongst the the urdu poetry community because of his thought provoking content.
Ravindra Singh, comes from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. He has been a part of Pune International Literary Festival (PILF) and Deccan Literature Festival. He has also got published in a couple of Anthologies.
